(Video replay below)
There is a moment — subtle, unmistakable — when the Mystic self tries to return home.
Arms full of ideas, possibilities, whispers gathered from the unseen.
And so often… no one answers the door.
This session is for the problem-solvers and the imaginative ones.
For those whose minds leap ahead, whose spirits roam wide, whose hearts hold the quiet conviction that the answer exists… somewhere, and they will go and find it.
It is especially for you if focus and completion have felt slippery.
Or if Jera is one of your birth runes or a long-term companion in your practice.
This video explores the Mystic through the turning wheel of Jera — and what it truly means to welcome the Mystic home.

The Mystic self and the gift of wandering
The Mystic is the part of your magical self that travels outwards —
not through the mind, but through the field.
It gathers ideas from the spaces between worlds, from ancestral memory, from the great dream of consciousness itself.
It is the keeper of faith.
The one inside you that says:
“There are answers. And I am willing to seek them.”
But the Mystic cannot wander indefinitely.
She needs to be welcomed when she returns.
Without that welcome, three things tend to happen:
she goes silent, the spark dimming
she retreats into private fantasy worlds
or she spirals into overwhelm, generating ideas with no one — not even you — to receive them
This is why so many magical people veer between loneliness and overactivity.
It isn’t a flaw.
It’s a broken feedback loop.
How Jera teaches the Mystic to return
Look at the shape of Jera: two wings, two seasons, circling around a centre of becoming.
Jera shows us:
there is a place for the Mystic to return to
the cycle needs exchange, not just output
manifestation is not the job of one archetype but of the whole magical self
The Mystic brings possibilities.
The Seer chooses.
The Magician shapes.
The Healer transforms.
The Sage learns and integrates.
When the Mystic’s offerings aren’t received, the whole cycle falters.
Three healing practices for the Mystic self
Offer feedback
When your Mystic brings ideas, respond.
Choose.
Acknowledge.
Let the Seer say: “This one. And thank you for the rest.”
The Mystic does not need you to use every idea — only to witness them.
Say thank you
This part is often overlooked.
We thank the external expression — the project finished, the ritual done, the visible thing.
But the Mystic is the one who travelled.
She needs gratitude to rest.
Try whispering: “Thank you for seeking. Thank you for bringing me hope.”
Ground with Jera
Mystics often drift above the body — a little ahead, a little elsewhere.
The Jera grounding practice in the video helps the Mystic return fully into form, so her gifts can be used rather than scattered.
If your sleep is disrupted, your mind racing, or you feel “not quite here”… this practice is for you.
Why this matters now: Winter Nights is coming
We are moving into the heart of Jera season — the season of turning, harvest, completion, and sacred reckoning.
It is a time when the unseen draws very near.
A time when the Mystic self is not only active, but needed.
And this year, I am opening three Winter Nights ceremonies:
20 December
24 December
1 January
(all at 7pm)
Winter Nights is where we step into the ritual cycle of boasting, gratitude and intention-setting — held within sacred story, community and the turning of the wheel.
It’s for the part of you that remembers ancient firesides.
It’s for the Mystic returning home.
To join Winter Nights, you need to be inside one of my sacred learning containers:
Sunna’s Star Wheel
For those in a gentle season, seeking replenishment and a soft wayfaring on the Northern European soul road.
Awaken to the Runes
For those ready to step into depth, lineage and long-term practice.
