Top tips for Mystics
- Treasure yourself as a vessel for hope, keeper of dreams and quester for lost possibility.
- Take time to properly switch off and rest as well as to vision and dream. When you are busy your down-time can become the play area for your inner mystic leaving you tired and stressed.
- Remember that alone may be comfortable but it will not help you bring your precious gifts into the world. Find those who know the value of what you offer and remember you are also worthy of being loved just for who you are.
- Be patient with people who are not as optimistic, idealistic or entrepreneurial as you. Annoying as it may seem, the other members of your magic circle are the exact people who will help you turn your dreams into reality.
- Write, speak, draw, sing or otherwise express your visions – don’t let them get stuck inside you or your head and heart will get too crowded.
…and remember that mastery of the other pathways can substantively enhance your magic and protect you from some of the dangers of relying too heavily on one path alone. For Mystics this means increased access to collaboration, talents, skill-sets and advocacy that will help you achieve your potential. Having a circle of trusted, magical friends who make you feel safe and seen will ensure that you look forward to returning home once your adventures are done.
Mystics as leaders
Mystics lead through vision and inspiration. They paint new possibilities upon the horizon and inspire people to work towards them. They are also great at spotting latent potential in other people and providing encouragement and support for others to grow.
Their leadership potential is diminished when their past experiences make it difficult for them to trust others and share their vision with the world.
Mystics as practitioners
Mystics need to master the methods that allow them to untether from the present moment and connect with unseen possibilities and forgotten wisdom. Methods include shamanic journeys, ecstatic dance and semi-guided meditations.

If you haven’t met me before my name is Maggie Rose Cunningham. I am a coach, trainer and northern European shamanic practitioner.
I work with seriously magical humans: empaths, intuitives, visionaries, sensitives, manifestors. Some run magical businesses, others are leaders, executives and experts in academic, charitable and government organisations. My clients come from around the globe with one shared desire: to explore, express and even more fully embrace their magic.
After 25 years running two parallel careers in Higher Education and spiritual development respectively I decided enough was enough. The world might not have been ready for me – but I was ready for it. I now work helping magical humans live powerful, purposeful lives that are making a real, sustainable difference for our people and planet.
I am also a trainer in the collective ancestral magic of Northern Europe. You will find the myths and magical tools of the Germanic peoples (England, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland) woven through my work.
