Awaken asks you to step outward — into partnership with the runes, the ancestors, the land, and a northern tradition that’s still alive, still evolving, still being carried forward by the people who practise it. This is the practitioner’s road.
Reclaim asks you to look inward — at what got silenced, questioned, or trained out of you, and at the possibility that those very instincts were never a flaw. They were skills. The West called them superstition; you were never wrong to trust them.
Neither is the beginner version of the other, and neither is more advanced. If you already know which one is pulling at you, follow that pull — it’s rarely wrong. If you don’t, that’s normal too. Email talk@maginrose.com and we’ll figure it out together.

Somewhere in the last few centuries, the West decided that intuition, empathy, sensitivity, visioning and energetic awareness were superstition — and threw them out. Reclaiming magic isn’t about performing tricks. It’s about recognising that these are real human skills, developed and valued for most of our history, and that a world without them is a world going quietly wrong.
Five retreats, each a doorway into recovering one part of that skill set. Take one on its own, or walk all five as a year-long journey. Either way, once you’ve been on retreat, you’re welcome in the Magic Circle — my monthly gathering for people who want to confidently and proudly use the skills they were born with.
Awaken to the Runes
Learn to work with the spirit language of northern Europe.
The Elder Futhark isn’t a symbol set to memorise — it’s a language, and like any language, it takes practice, not perfection. Awaken is a foundational, self-paced deep dive through all twenty-four runes, launched in 2020, with more than 100 people having walked it since.
The package includes twelve months in The Grove, my practitioner community — Wisdom Keeper Circles plus a wider library of resources for people building a real relationship with this work. Stay on after your first year for as long as it serves you.
Walk the full path and you can choose to graduate certified — as a Rune Healer, Seer, Mystic, or Magician. From there, advanced programmes also become available to you.
