Magpie Drum Circle
A monthly gathering for anyone wanting to develop their spiritual practice through sacred story, drum journeying, sound healing and self expression with body and voice.
Founded in 2026, Magpie Drum Circle is as a space for those wanting to explore the magical gifts, mythic landscapes and spiritual technologies we have been taught to fear.
It is a non-denominational, deity-inspired, feminine-led circle open to all. Expect drumming, sacred story, voice work, body work and lots of play.
Women who drum together can connect to their own rhythms, form a healthier collective view of their own potential, and loosen the unconscious grip of dominant cultural beliefs. When the Drummers were Women, Layne Redmond
Magpie Drum Circle
Location: Eyeworth Village Hall, Bedfordshire SG19 2HH
Time: First Wednesday of the month, 7:30-9pm
Bring: your drum your rattle or simply yourself.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. We run occasional circles designed with families in mind – read the circle descriptions for when these are.
*Don’t have a drum? Let us know and we’ll bring along some rattles and other instruments for you to use.
MEETING THE ANCESTORS4th November 7:30-9pm, Eyeworth Village HallJoin us on November 4th for a drumming circle holding space for us to meet with the ancestors gathering to offer us wisdom and receive healing. This circle is guided by the Celtic goddess Rhiannon.
Your hosts
Maggie has built her practice from foundations in wicca, reiki and shamanism. She is a northern european story-keeper and a guide for those crafting their own spiritual path. She has worked with runes since her teens and is a published writer and creativity facilitator in academic as well as esoteric spaces.
Becky is a druid, reiki teacher, laughter yoga teacher and circle facilitator with an obsession for drumming and all things Goddess.
Together we are a pair of both serious and irreverent magickal practitioners with libraries full of knowledge, two middle age lifetimes full of esoteric shenanigans and zero shame. Our circle is quite different to others you may have attended, we have a lot of fun with it, we go deep, we go silly, we go witchy.
