“You are the possibility of positive change. You are the possibility of fiercer truth. You are the possibility of greater love.” Read on for more wisdom from Tyr’s Chariot in Teiwaz, and the other planetary movements taking place this week.
As always, Middle Earth Readings for the week is published at the bottom of the page after the live event.

Tyr’s Chariot is now entering his own rune, Teiwaz, the rune of the star, victory and action. Tyr charges us to reach deep and stand tall. His way is truth, integrity and honour. He sees what must be done and is the first to step forward. He is the warrior leading from the front but also the quiet decision taken alone without thought of glory. You are the possibility of positive change. You are the possibility of fiercer truth. You are the possibility of greater love.

Frigg’s Chariot (Roman equivalent Venus) in Berkano calls forth the many faces of the Goddess. Berkano is the rune of the spring, the birch tree and youth; but it is also the rune of the dark mother beneath the Earth. As the Mother Frigg can be ferocity, as the Queen she can be mercy, as Warrioress she can be vulnerable, as Sorceress she can surrender and as Lover she can be denial. There is nothing she has not seen. No path she has not trodden. She cherishes both your darkest secrets and your brightest dreams. Whisper them all to her. Let her be the witness to your truth.

Sunna’s Chariot (the Sun) in Laguz (the rune of water) brings to mind the image of a Viking standing on the prow of a ship looking out over the glittering waters. There may, indeed, be dragons here. Nameless beings beneath the deeps calling you to your doom. The wide open sky may fold in on itself and wrestle with the waves as a darkening storm that engulfs you. Yet every captain knows that the glittering waters of the ocean are the only true pastures for the steed-of-the-sea (the ship). Long have you prepared for this journey. You were made for this adventure. Embrace it and it will embrace you. Claim its story as the unfolding of your one precious life.

Manni’s Chariot (the Moon) moves through one rune approximately every 24 hours. The edge of the new Moon is as a scythe cutting through what has come before and reaching towards desire, hope and purpose. It forms a moment for release, clarity and intention setting. Manni’s Chariot in Laguz calls us to reach towards the light. This is a great time to begin new projects, initiate new intentions and start new habits. Let the waters of Laguz carry away what is holding you back and bring life, renewal and growth to your hopes and dreams.

This week we move into the half month of Laguz, the rune of water. As the rune of water Laguz might be said to contain the power of Wyrd itself; the flowing waters of creation, consciousness, memory and magic.
