Here’s your weekly update on what’s going on with the planetary movements and what events are coming up in the Hearthspace. As always, Middle Earth Readings for the week is published at the bottom of the page after the live event.
Frigg’s Chariot (Roman equivalent Venus) in Mannaz reminds us that, alone amongst the other Gods, Frigg shares the throne with Odin. Mannaz is the rune of the divine spark within humanity; the seat of our sovereign power. The key to Frigg’s kingdom is the capacity to achieve greatness through service. In Mannaz we see the integration of all aspects of the self: vulnerability and power combine; fear becomes a gateway to transcendence; love manifests in every thread of being. When you prove yourself willing to accept your flaws and own your powers Frigg will provide the support you need to shine.
Odin’s Chariot (Roman equivalent Mercury) in Ehwaz is a reminder of the great initiation Odin undertook upon the World Tree. Ehwaz is the rune of the steed and the rider; reminding us that ‘Yggdrasil’ (the only name of the world tree in current memory) means ‘Odin’s Steed’. There are times when the path to power lies in surrendering ourselves to the current and trusting we will be carried. The deeper you are able to trust in the universe, your inner guides and partners in this lifetime the higher you will soar. Lean into the wind and let it carry you. With a smile Odin reminds us that, if we fall, it is simply a sign we need to choose our partners more wisely next time.
Tyr’s Chariot (Roman equivalent Mars) in Dagaz speaks of the vision we each hold for a better world. In the light of Dagaz, the rune of the Day, Tyr reminds us that there is a truth we perceive with our senses; and the truth we carry inside us. Tyr stands for this truth, this brave potential carried in each human soul. His gift is faith. Faith that you are strong enough to cleave to the truth you have seen and make it part of the shared reality of Midgard (the world of man) which your soul has chosen to be born into.

Conversations with Wyrd: innangard and utangard on Friday at 12:30 AM UTC+01
This month we are looking at water magics under the patronage of Hlin, the Goddess of refuge and protection and daughter of the sea Goddess Rand. In this session we’ll be looking at a reading helping us traverse the boundaries between the orderly ‘inner’ realm Innangard and the chaotic ‘outer’ realm Utangard.
This online event will take place in the private Hearthspace Facebook group which is part of our Hearthspace membership. Don’t worry if you can’t make it, this live stream will be available to watch even after it has ended. The event will be followed by a group session in the Hearthspace Zoom room. This group discussion isn’t recorded but you can access the training any time from the group’s learning units library.
