Here’s a look at what’s happening week; including the planetary movements and how to work with the energies as well as what events are coming up in the Hearthspace.

Frigg’s Chariot (Roman equivalent Venus) in Isa calls forth the majesty and beauty of winter. The universe draws its breath, the wheel stops momentarily. Isa is the rune of ice and precursor to the modern sound ‘I’. Frigg, the Seeress and Queen of Heaven has a gaze that reaches far beyond what most can see. Horizons dissolve beneath her eye and she gathers all to her. Differences and conflicts reduce to nothing and all is one. Pause and she may choose to share the vision.

Landvidi means ‘Wide Hall or White Hall’. It is said to be a quiet, peaceful place surrounded by all the beauties of the earth in bloom and tall grasses. Vidar is known as the silent god. He is a god of strength, action, family values and justice. He is the slayer of Fenris and avenger of his father’s death.  Jera, Eihwaz and Perthro fall within Vidar’s sphere in a birth runes chart. Landvidi is equivalent to Capricorn in the Zodiac.

Odin’s Chariot (Roman equivalent Mercury) in Eihwaz brings forth the power of the shamanic journey.  The sacrifice of self to self.  The quest for knowledge that will lessen the burdens of suffering and ignorance.  The thirst for the fire of knowledge, inspiration and evolution.  Eihwaz represents the Yew tree which is known for its longevity and endurance.  The World Tree itself Yggdrasil (Odin’s steed) is said to be of Yew or Ash wood.  In its Yew form it supports continued life, growth and wisdom.
