I am a healer, teacher and seer and also provide one-to-one mentoring for healing and self-development. My path is rooted within the ancient traditions of northern Europe; I work with the flow of Wyrd, utilizing the power of the ancient runes and northern shamanic techniques to assist my practice.  My path as a healer has evolved with me.   My training includes shamanic practice, rune work and the northern tradition, reiki, crystal healing, intuitive healing and energy work, seership, psychism, and stress management.

Teacher

My role as a teacher is to help others develop their knowledge, skill and power under the direction of spirit.  My patron as a teacher is Odin and both my correspondence courses and those offered through StarFire Alchemy reflect his passion for seeking and developing knowledge, personal power, magical skill and intuitive wisdom.  Odin is an adventurer, mystic, sage, warrior, trickster, healer and all round awesome patron – you can expect the courses offered under his direction to be both challenging and transformative.

I run a number of correspondence courses as well as workshops, full day courses and training programmes through StarFire Alchemy.  I am responsible for the Northern Tradition programme at StarFire Alchemy but you will find that many of the stand-alone shamanic courses we run are also heavily influenced by this beautiful tradition.

The Northern Tradition programme combines the study of the lore of the runes and northern cosmology with shamanic approaches which focus on direct contact with their energies and the guiding spirits of the Northern tradition.  You will find more information, including a You Tube video on the StarFire Alchemy Northern Shamanism page.

Our shamanic programme is practical and experiential in nature, reflecting the fact that each practitioner must develop his or her own connections with spirit.  We offer a wide range of workshops and courses including our Shamanic Circle (suitable for beginners), right up to Way of the Weaver (the final element of our practitioner programme).  Experienced healers from other traditions are also able take stand-alone courses such as Past Life Healing, Cord cutting and Healing Voice.

Healer

Shamanism is a practice guided by Spirit, I move between ordinary and non-ordinary reality to bring about change and healing for my clients.  Non-ordinary reality (sometimes referred to as the dream world or Otherworld), is an energetic realm that exists outside our own world but is deeply, and powerfully, connected to it.  Your healing with me will be woven around your own needs and goals.  We will work to reweave your soul path: dissolving the boundaries that hold you back, restoring your unique essence, rebirthing your Self.

Gentle, restorative, supportive healing – 1 hour session

A shamanic energy healing session focuses on dissolving energy blockages, restoring balance, and re-empowering the mind, body and spirit.  I will blend some of the following to create a healing unique to you:

Sound healing

At its essence, all creation is made up of vibration; you have your own unique resonance which I will work with through the use of sound including voice, drum, singing bowl and rattle.

Channeled energy

I work intuitively to channel the appropriate energy for you; this may include rune energies, reiki or elemental energies.

Crystal healing

Crystals are natural repositories of power; I work with spirit to create a unique crystal ‘matrix’ around your body.

Transformative, empowering, creative healing  – 2 hour session

Shamanic work allows us to locate and work directly with the sources of obstacles, recurring life patterns, emotional, spiritual and physical dis-ease.  I will begin our session by undertaking a shamanic journey to seek guidance from Spirit and ensure the work we undertake is for your highest good.  Your session will then include one, or sometimes more, of the following techniques, after which I will provide gentle energy healing to support you in integrating the work we have done:

Shamanic Regression

Travelling back to a childhood experience, past life, or time out of ‘incarnation’ allows you to identify the source of current issues, habits, or negative patterns and so begin the healing process.

Cord cutting

We will identify and release unhelpful ties to people, places, events, habits and thought patterns which are holding you in a place of dis-ease.

Power retrieval

I will journey to find and restore your lost power (normally returned in the form of a personal power animal).

Extraction

Energetic ‘intrusions’ in the body are safely removed; freeing you from deep-rooted patterns of behavior and sources of dis-ease.

Rune healing

Each rune has its own unique energy.  A rune healing involves the creation of a unique shamanic ceremony to bring the rune energies into balance within your energy body.

This was a profound and also very painful experience with an intense outpouring of memories and emotions. Magin performed energy healing on me and guided me to find peace within myself in my past life, then guided me back to my current life, helping me to integrate my experience and to make sense of it. Mentoring - in person and via Skype

My role as a mentor is to support you in creating your own plan for healing and personal development and to teach you techniques  to help you achieve this such as: relaxation, self healing, accessing your own intuition, managing change and reducing stress.  Together we will look at your priorities for making change in your life and devise a plan of action to enable you to move forward.  Mentoring sessions cost £40, they can be in-person or via Skype and last between 45 minutes and one hour.  Your session will include a write up or recording to help you on your way.

Seer

If you are looking for clarity or guidance on your path, then you can book a one hour psychic reading with me either as a stand-alone session or combined with a one hour healing.  I will work with whatever medium is most appropriate for your reading, which may include tarot, oracle cards or runes.  You can also book a distance reading with me via Skype.

An hour’s reading costs £40, or £70 for a combined reading and one-hour healing session.

Everything made complete sense and cast a light on problems that I was aware of, but from a new angle, so I had a more complete view of why I was blocked and what was holding me back. Based on this Rune spread Magin made suggestions and recommendations about areas in my life that I might wish to work on or rethink.
